The day before the start of the safari , you’ll check into your hotel in Dar – we can arrange this for you, just let us know.

END DETAILS

You’ll be returned to Dar then drop off at the Ferry for your boat to Zanzibar

Light clothing, be comfortable. Sensible shoes, trainers or light boots, wide brimmed hat, bring binoculars!

DAY 1. DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK

Early start to avoid the traffic. Depart your hotel at 06:00hrs and drive to Mikumi National Park (310km/Day’s Travel Time: 6 hours and 30 minutes) lunch as on the way. Pay your park fees and settle into Vuma Hills Tented Camp before enjoying an afternoon game drive. Mikumi is an amazing park with numerous big game species including many: lions, leopards, giraffe, zebra and elephants. After sunset drive back to Vuma Hills Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3. FULL DAY EXPLORING MIKUMI.

Full day exploring this wonderful park. Looking for predators including lion, leopard and wild dog. Enjoying amaziung bird life and the magnificent views. Based at Vuma Hill Tented Camp.

DAY 3. MIKUMI TO DAR ES SALAAM

After breakfast, start your day with short sunrise game drive: Mkata, Chamgore (place of the python), and Mkata Food Plain within Mikumi National Park. Depart at 09:00hrs leave the park and drive back to Dar es salaam lunch as you go,drop off at Dar es salaam Ferry pr airport for your trip to Zanzibar
