Day 1: Fly from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

Make your own way to Dar domestic airport to catch the Coastal flight which departs at 1045hrs, arriving at Mtemere airstrip at 1130hrs. On arrival in Selous you will meet a vehicle and driver-guide from the camp then transfer to the Selous River Camp. Relax at the camp and enjoy surroundings before lunch. After lunch, you will depart for an afternoon boat cruise along Rufiji River. You will have time to explore the different channels and lakes of the Rufiji River System, surrounded by hippos and crocodiles. A large variety of herons, storks, ducks, stilts, and a huge variety of bird life. Return to the camp for sunset viewing right on the bank of Rufiji River. Dinner and overnight at Selous River Camp, in one of their mud huts, on full board.

Day 2: Full day Selous Game Reserve

After breakfast, set out from 0800hrs until late afternoon on a game drives into the Selous Game Reserve in an open sided safari vehicle. Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch in the middle of the wilderness before returning to camp for dinner and overnight again at Selous River Camp in one of their mud huts, on full board.

Day 3: Fly from Selous to Zanzibar
An early start at 0600hrs for a coffee/tea with freshly baked biscuits before leaving camp to explore the Selous Game Reserve on foot on a two-hour walking safari with a guide and armed ranger. Return to camp for breakfast before transfer to the airstrip to catch Coastal flight at 0915hrs to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar at 1120hrs, you will be met and transferred to Hakuna Majiwe in Paje. Here you will stay 2 nights on half board so you can explore the restaurants in the local area for your lunch if you wish.

Day 4: A full day in Zanzibar – (Paje)

A full day relaxing at the hotel or enjoy the beach. Activities available from the hotel are diving, snorkeling trips, kite-surfing, spice tour, stone town tour etc. Based at Hakuna Majiwe, on half board.

Day 5: Transfer to Zanzibar airport – Fly to Dar-es-salaam
Final day at the hotel, by the beach before transferring back to the airport to catch a flight to Dar-es-salaam.
