Day 1: Fly from Dar-es-Salaam to Pemba

Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport with international flight, you will be met and transferred to the domestic terminal for your short light aircraft to Pemba Island. Upon your arrival in Pemba, you will take a 20 minute speedboat ride to the Fundu Lagoon jetty. Settling at Fundu Lagoon where you will stay 4 nights in a Sea View Room, on full board.

Day 2 – 4: Full days in Pemba

Three days relaxing on the resort, or you can choose to do deep Sea Fishing and snorkeling off Misali Island which is just a 15 minute speedboat ride from Fundu Lagoon (take picnic lunch from the resort). It is a protected Marine Park with an incredible beach, pristine reef and multiple dive spots for all level of diver. The dive center at the lodge can help you plan diving and snorkeling as well as tuition and night dives. You may also choose to visit spice plantations and nature of Pemba or visit Ngezi forest and Kidike with its flying foxes. Or choose to do village trek to near villages (just a walking distance from the resort). Based at Fundu Lagoon, in a Hillside Room, on full board.

Day 5: Fly from Pemba to Zanzibar

You will picked up by speedboat and take back to Pemba airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to Zanzibar Serena Inn in Stone town. Overnight on bed and breakfast so that you can take advantage of the local eateries if you wish for dinner.

Day 6: Full day in Stone town

Today you can enjoy exploring the sights and sounds of Stone Town – famous for its rich and dramatic history as a centre of colonial exploration and of the East African slave-trade. You can choose to have a guide to show you around or simply explore the charming alleyways and curio shops on your own. Based at Zanzibar Serena Inn, on bed and breakfast

Day 7: Transfer from Stone town to Kiwengwa

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa which located in Kiwengwa. Here you will stay three nights, in a Superior room, on half-board.

Day 8 & 9: Full days in Zanzibar (Kiwengwa)

Two days relaxing on the beach or take a day to explore more of Zanzibar. Excursions to do a spice tour, snorkeling and scuba diving can be organised from the hotel. Other activities are Spice Tour, a visit to Jozani Forest with its famous endemic monkeys etc. Based at Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa in a Superior room, on Half board.

Day 10: Return to Dar-es-Salaam for your flight back home
Final day at the hotel/ by the beach before transferring back to the airport to catch short light aircraft to Dar-es-Salaam. Arriving at Dar-es-Salaam airport before 6pm. Transfer to the International airport to connect your onward flight. End of service.

Flights from Dar to Zanzibar and on to Pemba are typically in a Cessna Caravan.  Transport on the islands is by air condition minibus.    Please arrive at the airports 1 hour before you a due to fly and ensure you have.
