A true wildlife and scenery spectacle – this is a great time of year to visit as the lodges have lower prices, rain does not usually hamper your safari as it generally comes at night.

Arusha, the starting point for most Northern circuit safaris is just a short drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport.

DAY 1: ARRIVE KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TRANSFER TO ARUSHA KARAMA LODGE

Arrive at KIA and our representative driver guide will be there at Kilimanjaro International airport to pick you and transfer to Karama Lodge in Arusha to relax and recover from your long safari flying. Dinner and overnight at Karama Lodge. Bed and Breakfast.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE BASED AT SOPA LODGE

After breakfast at Karama Lodge in Arusha then depart for Tarangire National Park where you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population and spectacular bird life, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population, with a density of wildlife like big elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes and many more attractions matched only by Ngorongoro. Late afternoon leave the park and drive to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight, Full board(B,L,D)

DAY 3: TARANGIRE TO MANYARA (GIBBS FARM – NEW COTTAGES)

After breakfast at Tarangire Sopa Lodge and depart for Manyara Park. Here you will enjoy a spectacular view of the African Rift Valley whilst having a picnic lunch. Afternoon game drive looking for Manyara’s famous tree climbing lions, Explore the lakeside – you will see a million Lesser East African Flamingos, which make the lake look pink. Overnight at Gibbs Farm (New Farm Cottages) for dinner and overnight. Full board.

DAY 4: MANYARA TO SERENGETI – KENZAN LUXURY TENTED CAMP

An early drive to Serengeti. A full day of game viewing, starting with the amazing drive from Manyara National Park drive through the Rift Valley passing at Karatu village see people with their daily activities, drive through gate the NCA with a short stop at Olduvai Gorge for a visit to the early hominid museum. This area is the Maasai homeland and you will pass a number of villages en route. Explore around Lake Ndutu with a picnic lunch, then enter the Serengeti. Continue on a game drive through the Seronera Plains in the Serengeti, ending at Kenzan Luxury Tented Camp where you will have dinner and overnight while watching the animal migration, big number of wildebeest, buffaloes and many more animals. Full Board (B,L,D).

DAY 5 & 6: TWO FULL DAYS TOUR IN SERENGETI– KENZAN LUXURY TENTED CAMP

Two full days of exploring the endless plane the Serengeti, you will be doing your game drives with picnic lunch, explore the Southern and eastern part of Serengeti, Dec and January are the very best time to see animal migration in south part of Serengeti, see big and big groups of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, giraffes and many more animals drinking and enjoying at the Ndutu river, just near the Ndutu safari Lodge where you will overnight, expect to enjoy a lot. Search for the big predators and herbivores as well as the myriad smaller creatures which make each safari unique!. All meals and overnight at Kenzan Luxury Tented Camp Full Board (B,L,D).

DAY 7: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO – LAKE MASEK TENTED CAMP

Very early in the morning en route driving with packed lunch from the Serengeti endless plane to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the evening, Dinner and Overnight at Lake Masek Tented Camp. Full board (B,L,D).

DAY 8: EXPLORE NGORONGORO CRATER – NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE

Early drive into the crater for game drive, the swamps and forest in Ngorongoro provide additional resources for hippo, elephant, waterbuck, reedbuck and bushbuck, baboons and Vervet monkeys. Predatory animals lion, leopard, cheetah, several cats live off the abundant wildlife and average packs of hyena roam the Crater, making their own kill and scavenging from others. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, Full board (B,L,D).

DAY 9 DAY AT LEISURE IN NGORONGORO- NGORONGORO SERENA LODGE

This day you will relax at the lodge, swim and enjoy the beautiful weather while watching animals passing by the lodge. All meals at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge Full board (B,L,D)

DAY 10: NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA- KARAMA LODGE

After having a final breakfast, drive back to Arusha and the driver will take you direct to Karama Lodge for resting after a long safari tour, relax get time watch you pictures you took during tour and pack you luggage ready for your departure back home the next day. Overnight will be at Karama Lodge. Half board.

DAY 11: DEPARTURE DAY

In the morning, driver guide will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your scheduled flight back home, END OF SAFARI
