Day 1. Dar es salaam to Udzungwa Mountains National Park
After and early breakfast depart for Udzungwa. Stop for lunch on the way. See some of the spectacular landscapes including the Uluguru Mountains on the way. Arrive at Hondo Hondo Tented Camp mid afternoon. Settle in to your en-suite tent and look at the monkeys from the glade before enjoying a superb meal,

Day 2.
Breakfast then make final preparations for your trek into the mountains, including a visit to the park HQ to complete the formalities. The hike up to Sanje Waterfalls, is relatively short (max 2hrs) but is quite steep in places. This is the park’s most popular attraction, although it is unlikely that you will meet any other hikers. Once at Sanje there will be time to explore the forest and waterfalls, and even go for a swim in one of the plunge pools. There after return to the Camp, spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the camp. You can see a lot of nature from the bar area including colobus, yellow baboons, mongoose and duiker.

Day 3. Mangeby tracking in Udzungwa and evening visit to Magombera Monkey Forest.
After an early breakfast you will transfer to the park HQ to meet your guides. You will then head into the forest but not following any paths necessarily – you will go where the troop of habituated monkeys are. You will be accompanied by researchers who know the monkeys well. Return to camp for a late lunch or take packed lunch with you as you prefer. Optional evening visit to Magombera Monkey forest where you can see Pels Fishing Owl amongst other notables. Dinner and overnight at Hondo Hondo.

Day 4. Udzungwa to Mikumi National Park
Early breakfast and check out,at 06:30hrs drive to Mikumi National park starting with morning game drive: Mkata, Chamgore (place of the python), and Mkata Food Plain within Mikumi National Park. Mikumi is an excellent game viewing location and you can expect to see up to ten species of big game in your first hour in the park.
You will then drive back to the lodge for a hot Lunch. Then relax at camp for a while before proceeding with an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hills Tented Camp.

DAY 5. Mikumi to Dar es salaam
After breakfast depart for final game drive before drive back to Dar es salaam,lunch as you go, drop off at your hotel
