Excellent Chimpanzee tracking with water sports in Lake Tanganyika
Dar es Salaam is the starting point for most western safaris. After a 2 hr flight, the lake is just a short drive from Kigoma Airport. Thaqt said it is possible to start your journey from Arusha or other locations, just let us know what you prefer.

ITINERARY:
Day 1. FLY FROM DAR ES SALAAM TO KIGOMA THEN BOAT TO GOMBE STREAMS NATIONAL PARK
Fly from Dar Es Salaam International Airport to Kigoma Airport. On arrival you will be met by your cook and boat driver who will take you to the ferry. Board the boat to Gombe Streams National Park with a packed lunch. Arrive in time for afternoon Chimpanzee tracking (with an expert guide) or just explore the forest around the camp. Stay in Gombe National Park Bandas.
Full Board Basis
Day 2.-4 A DAY IN GOMBE STREAMS NATIONAL PARK
Full days at Gombe. Breakfast, then depart, with your expert guide, for chimpanzee tracking with packed lunch. All meals and overnight at the National park Bandas.The bandas are well situated and offer a pleasant place to relax after your walk.
Full Board.
Day 5: GOMBE TO KIGOMA THEN FLY BACK TO DAR
Early breakfast then connect boat to Kigoma in time for your Air Tanzania flight back to Dar.
End of safari.
