Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit includes some of the most famous and remarkable sights in the world, such as the annual Wildebeest Migration and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
Western Tanzania presents a unique opportunity to escape the tourist routes and enter the hear of the bush. You can see chimpanzees in their natural habitat at Gombe Stream or Mahale Mountains and trek through breathtaking forests. Kitavi is exceptional for hippo and lion.
Because of the distances involved safaris to Western Tanzania are recommended to be flying safaris. There are other ways of getting there like driving or the train but these do take a long time and actually also end up being fairly expensive.
There is the chance to visit the great lakes: Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika, Lake Nyasa (Malawi) and Lake Rukwa. If you wish we can arrange fishing and diving holidays on the lakes.

All the Parks visited are really wonderful, especially Ruaha and the "king" Katavi that worth absolutely the long trip (at least in our point of view). Yahaya and Salim are like two friends.
