Flying safaris not only save a large amount of time, avoids long road journeys, but also provides you with the chance to viewing some of the most spectacular regions from air. It allows you to combine bush and beach superbly by heading off to Zanzibar, Pemba or Mafia after the end of your safari.

.

Flying by light aircraft to various lodges, exploring the area and moving on to the next location, your safari adventure begins when you take off!

This type of safari allows the visitor to have a more complete experience of the diverse wilderness areas. There are two levels of flying safari. Those where you use scheduled flights and private charters.

If your budget allows chartering a private plane enables you to enjoy the luxury of choosing when & where to go. We will help you to select the best camps & lodges based on the time of year.

Our personal recommendation for a superb flying safari is the combination of Beho Beho in the Selous Game Reserve and Mnemba Atol just off Zanzibar. This provides the best of bush and beach. It is not cheap but you get what you pay for.

We customise your itinerary to suit YOUR interests, travel & style. Please contact us if you are interested in a flying safari and we will design a tailor-made tours to suit your individual interests.

  • All the Parks visited are really wonderful, especially Ruaha and the "king" Katavi that worth absolutely the long trip (at least in our point of view). Yahaya and Salim are like two friends.
