Balloon Safaris

Balloon Safaris

A Balloon Safaris have become a very popular activity in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. In July 2010 they were also introduced to Tarangire National Park. People who have done it describe the activity as an amazing experience, seeing animals in their natural habitat from a view that only a few get to experience. Although a Balloon Safari is quite an expensive activity, it is well worth it.

A Balloon Safari in Serengeti National Park is the ideal way to make your safari outstanding. The usual procedure when doing a Balloon Safari in the Serengeti would be, an early morning start, and last a duration of one hour, flying low over the beautiful plains of the Serengeti, with snacks on board the flight and a champagne breakfast in the bush when you land at 8-9am. This is the perfect way to experience all of which the Serengeti has to offer, as you see the animals from a unique vantage point, the sky. During these safaris, the pilot may either fly just above the treetops or at 1000' depending on the underlying terrain.

  • All the Parks visited are really wonderful, especially Ruaha and the "king" Katavi that worth absolutely the long trip (at least in our point of view). Yahaya and Salim are like two friends.
